VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (AP) – Virginia Beach police are investigating a suspicious death.
Police say first responders received a call for an unresponsive individual near Catalina Avenue and Alcott Road. Police say when officers arrive they found a man suffering from an injury to his torso. Police say he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police have not yet released the victim’s name. Police say the department’s homicide unit is handling the investigation.
Police did not provide any additional details about the nature of the man’s injury.
