Fayetteville police looking for man who left home and never came back

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. (WNCN) — Fayetteville police are asking the public to help them locate a man who has been reported missing by his family.

Abdisalan Ahmed, 29, was last seen Nov. 16 near the Eagle Inn at 333 Person Street in Fayetteville, police said.

The next day, his mother reported to police that he’d left the house and never returned, according to officials. His mother told police he walks everywhere he goes and his absence is unusual.

Ahmed is described by police as a black man with black hair and brown eyes, 5 feet 8 or 10 inches tall, weighing about 150 pounds.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call 911, contact Fayetteville police at (910) 703-1166 or Crimestoppers at (910) 483-TIPS. Crimestoppers information can also be submitted online or by texting “4tip” followed by the tip to 274637.
