FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. (WNCN) — A string of business robberies in Fayetteville has been escalating, and now police are urging family and friends of three persons of interest to have them come forward before someone gets hurt.

Robbers successfully held up two Waffle House restaurants and a Zaxby’s and tried but failed to rob Captain Jerry’s Seafood, police said.

Police say Krystle Ferrell, 30, Justin Powell, 25, and Joshua Powell, 22, are persons of interest in the case. They’re asking anyone who knows where they are to call police and urging the trio’s friends and family to work to convince the three to come forward to police.

Police are asking anyone with information about the three to call Fayetteville police Det. J. Lewis at (910) 703-9503 or Crimestoppers at (910) 483-TIPS. Crimestoppers information can also be submitted online or by texting “4tip” followed by the tip to 274637.
