RENO, Nev. (AP/CNN) — Police say a Thanksgiving night dispute over a space in the parking lot of a Nevada Walmart has left one man dead.
Police in Reno say the argument began shortly after 6 p.m. Thursday. They say two vehicles stopped near the exit of the lot.
They say both persons involved were armed with weapons and a 33-year-old man was shot dead at the scene.
“It looks it was some sort of road rage incident, we don’t have any other information that it was linked to any shopping activities or anything like that at this point,” said Lt. Scott Shaw of the Reno Police.
Investigators say no arrests have been made, but those involved in the shooting have been located. The vehicles and gun have also been recovered.
The Walmart where the shooting stayed open for Black Friday shoppers.
Police say the investigation is ongoing.
