RALEIGH, N.C.(WNCN) — A fire at a Durham Burger King has forced the business to close temporarily.
Crews were called to the restaurant located on 1605 US 70 Hwy E around 1:30 p.m. Saturday afternoon. An employee told CBS North Carolina, he walked into the kitchen when he heard a loud noise and saw flames near the broiler.
A few customers were inside at the time of the incident, but no injuries were reported. No word on when the business will reopen.
