NC police arrest two more in connection with ex-boyfriend’s murder

PINK HILL, N.C. (WNCT) — Pink Hill Police have arrested two more people in connection with the murder of 56-year-old Garry Lee Spitzer, who was found dead on Nov. 20.

Pink Hill Police Chief Joey Thigpen says Phoebe Morgan and Eugene McDonald were arrested Friday in Tuscaloosa County, Alabama.

Morgan is Katey Millican’s mother. Millican was arrested Monday and charged with murder.

Millican and the victim, Spitzer, were at one time in a relationship and have a child together.

Both Morgan and McDonald are now charged with murder and conspiracy to commit murder. They are awaiting extradition from Alabama.
