NC Pokemon Go player still in hospital 2 weeks after attack during robbery

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (WFMY) – Police need your help identifying a man captured in surveillance video moments before a Pokemon Go player was badly beaten during a robbery.

Police said the man was attacked while playing the reality game near the area of 700 Liberty Street in Winston-Salem. It happened November 15 just after 12:30 a.m.

The surveillance video reveals a man looking at his phone while another man follows him out of view of the camera.

Police said the victim was found incoherent after being badly beaten. The victim also remains in the hospital.

Investigators said the man also stole items from the victim.
