Lockdown lifed at Fayetteville day care following police activity

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. (WNCN) – A Fayetteville day care was on lockdown Tuesday after a man with a gun was reported near the business.

Middle Creek Creative School at 1062 Rim Road was put on lockdown after a person reported seeing a man with a gun just before 10 a.m.

Police are still investigating the call, but not in the area close to the daycare.

The lockdown was lifted by 11 a.m., according to Creative Schools.
