Man charged in deadly shooting at Fayetteville Wendy’s restaurant

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. (WNCN) — A man has been charged in a deadly shooting on Saturday at a Fayetteville Wendy’s, police said Tuesday.

The shooting was reported around 3:15 p.m. at the Wendy’s at 2903 Raeford Road, according to a news release from Fayetteville Police.

When police arrived three people were found with gunshot wounds – and one of them was dead.

Brandon L. Ratliff, 31, of Norfolk, Virginia, died in the incident, which happened after a group of people set up a meeting in the Wendy’s parking lot, police said.

Now, one of the people who was shot during the incident has been charged with murder.

Antonio Deondre Amur Styles, 20, of the 600 block of Monagan Street in Fayetteville is charged with murder, robbery with a dangerous weapon and conspiracy to commit robbery.

Styles was arrested as he was discharged from the hospital and is currently jailed at the Cumberland County Detention Center without bond.
