CARY, N.C. (WNCN) — A man wearing a multi-colored scarf that hid much of his face robbed a bank in Cary on Wednesday morning.
The incident happened just after 9 a.m. Wednesday at the Fidelity Bank at 150 W. Chatham Street in Cary, according to police.
The man, who did not appear to be armed, entered the bank and asked the teller for money, Cary police said in an email.
“After receiving an undisclosed amount of cash, he fled the scene on foot via West Chatham Street away from downtown Cary,” police said.
In addition to the multi-colored scarf, the bank robber wore a dark green coat, dark colored pants, black gloves and white sunglasses.
