DICKSON, Tenn. (WKRN) – Police are searching for a man they say stole a donation jar intended for the family of a teenage girl who was killed in a house fire last week.

According to police, Aaron Gooch used a stolen credit card to buy dinner at a Mexican restaurant where Nadia Garcia worked. When the card failed, police said Gooch stole the donation jar off the counter and fled.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts should call Dickson police at 615-446-8041 Ext. 4.

Garcia died after a fire broke out at Sam’s Townhomes on Spring Street last Tuesday morning.

Two others were injured in the fire.
