Late Thursday, the AMBER Alert was extended from Georgia to South Carolina.

Waskow is in extreme danger as her accused abductor is wanted on child molestation charges, authorities said.

Officials believe Jason Arlis Johnson, 37, abducted Waskow.

The Columbia County Sheriff’s Office described Johnson as standing 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs 175 pounds. He may have a shaved head.

The two could be traveling in a tan 1998 Ford Crown Victoria with South Carolina license plate KVJ240.

Johnson is wanted on charges of aggravated child molestation, child molestation, enticing a child for indecent purposes, and contributing to the delinquency of a minor, according to the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office.

Waskow’s parents made a plea for their daughters safe return, CBS affiliate WRDW reported.

Nora Waskow said she found her daughter’s bedroom empty Monday and called authorities.

“I just really want him to bring my baby back home,” Nora told WRDW. “I miss her so much and I’m really scared of what he could be doing to her right now.”

Anyone with information is asked to call Investigator Daniel Gaston at (706) 541-2800.
