Employee shot at Durham McDonald’s, police say

DURHAM, N.C. (WNCN) — An employee was shot at a McDonald’s in Durham Monday morning, police said.

The shooting occurred around 5:30 a.m. at the McDonald’s located at 4717 N.C. Highway 55 in the Triangle Square Shopping Center. Police would not confirm that the shooting as part of an attempted robbery, only that the shooting occurred.

The employee suffered non-life threatening injuries.

Police said they have made no arrests and have no information regarding any suspects at this time.

The shooting is under investigation.
