FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. (WNCN) — A man was shot twice in his leg during an incident outside a business early Saturday morning, police say.
The shooting was first discovered by police when the victim showed up around 3:20 a.m. at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center, according to Fayetteville police.
The shooting happened earlier in the parking lot of The Pool Palace at 3118 Bragg Blvd, police said.
The suspect in the shooting fled in a vehicle that had several other people inside.
Police described the suspect as a thin build black male wearing a black toboggan, possibly driving a tan 4-door Honda sedan with possible tint.
The victim, Robert Dockery, 22, of the 3600 block of Old Maxton Road in Red Springs was charged in unrelated previous incidents, police said.
Dockery was charged with Misdemeanor Parole violation and Violation of a Domestic Violence Protection Order.
