Man with knife robs NC bank

GREENVILLE, N.C. (WNCT) – The First Citizens Bank on South Memorial Drive was robbed by a man with a knife Monday morning, the Greenville Police Department said.

Officers said at about 9:15 a.m. an individual entered the bank, displayed a knife and passed a note to a teller with demands to hand over money.

In a photo from authorities, the man, who had a mustache, was wearing a black hoodie, a camouflaged baseball hat and glasses.

Greenville police said the suspect was able to get away with an undisclosed amount of cash.

No one was injured during the robbery, officers said.
