SANFORD, N.C. (WNCN) — Deputies have arrested a Zacharus Jovon Foxx, who is accused of shooting an acquaintance on the man’s front porch, according to Lee County Sheriff Tracy Carter.
Foxx, 34, of 5312 Swann Station Road, Sanford, has been charged with attempted murder, first-degree kidnapping and robbery with a dangerous weapon, Carter wrote on his blog.
Foxx’s address had been listed in earlier reports as Brooks Mangum Road in Cameron.
Foxx is accused of shooting Ronald Monta McLaughlin, who was found wounded on his porch in Sanford about 5:30 a.m. Monday, according to Carter. McLaughlin remains in critical condition. His bond was set at $250,000 secured.
Also arrested was deanna Nakol Seeley, 21, of 606 N. Steele St., Sanford, who is charged with conspiracy to commit first-degree kidnapping and conspiracy to commit robbery with a dangerous weapon, carter wrote. Her bond was set at $20,000 secured.
