2 men shot in Durham parking lot Thursday night

DURHAM, N.C. (WNCN) – Two men were shot Thursday night in a Durham parking lot, police said.

The shooting occurred around 10:30 p.m. near the intersection of E. Main Street and Angier Avenue.

One male victim was shot in the hand and suffered minor injuries.


A second male victim was shot and able to run over a few blocks to Stokes Street. Police said he suffered injuries that do not appear to be life-threatening.

At least one occupied home was damaged by gunfire, but no one inside was hurt, according to police.

Investigators are working to determine the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
